We arrived at Mersea ready for our picnic lunch which was lovely in the seaside sun. After settling into our tents, we got ready for the first two activities of our stay. These activities included team building games, the zip wire, rock climbing, kart building, archery and a challenging low ropes course. These activities will be experienced by all the children over the course of our stay.
We then had our first main meal which consisted of pasta bolognase and either a giant muffin, an ice cream or fresh fruit for dessert. The children are now completing a quiz and a scavenger hunt before having a hot chocolate and preparing for their first night under canvas.
Tomorrow will be action packed from start to finish so there will be lots more photos to follow!
