After some very excited chatter, the children settled down at the end of day 1 to a good night’s sleep and woke early (in some cases, very early!) to a clear, bright morning. Sadly, the weather didn’t stay good for very long and waterproofs were soon being used. We started day 2 with a fabulous breakfast of croissant, pain-au-chocolat, cereal, toast and fresh fruit.
This was the big day of activities with each child completing 5 different sessions across the day. The first started at 9am and the final one didn’t finish until 8.30pm – they are all shattered from a busy day! They enjoyed the evening meal of chicken Kiev and have now settled down to their final night of the trip – the camp went quiet much more quickly tonight!
With two more activities on their final day, the children are all excited for tomorrow and are looking forward to getting home to share what they have been getting up to with you.
