The children are now safely home after a fantastic three days away at Mersea Camp. No doubt they are all tired but also full of stories to tell you about the amazing things they got up to.
This morning’s breakfast of sausages and hashbrowns (as well as cereal, fruit and toast) set them up well for the final two activities. The first session finished off the round of activities they have been undertaking since Wednesday. But, the main event they were all really looking forward to was the “It’s a Knockout” session before lunch. This consisted of a series of giant inflatables where the children competed against each other to earn points. Despite being tired after a full schedule over the three days, the children really threw themselves into the fun and games as the photos show.
We hope you’ve enjoyed our daily updates and we are hoping to share a final few photos from our trip on Monday.
Well done Year 6 – we’ve thoroughly enjoyed taking you away.
