During the Autumn term, 4D were fortunate to receive ukulele ‘Play-It’ sessions from Essex Music Services.
Mr Wright spent an hour each week (over the course of ten weeks) teaching us how to hold the ukulele correctly; how to strum and pluck it; and how to read and play some chords. We used these skills to play along to the song ‘Three Little Birds’ by Bob Marley.
All of our hard work culminated in a super performance during our class
assembly in front of the whole school!
