We introduced the Coronation Cup last year as it was a special year for our country. With King Charles being a very skillful speaker it seemed fitting to name the cup the Coronation Cup. This year’s Coronation Cup Challenge’s theme was dreams and goals.

EYFS and KS1 brought in an object, picture book or toy to talk about for around 1 minute.

In Years 3 and 4 they had the aim to talk for up to 2 minutes about a subject of their choice that they have dreams or goals about.

In Years 5 and 6 they delivered persuasive speeches that lasted for approx 2- 3 minutes about a dream or goal they feel passionate about.

The range of subjects across the school was magnificent and so many children took part. All class winners received their certificates in a special assembly along with the overall winners and their trophies.

We are pleased to announce the overall winners:

EYFS and KS1 winner was Roman from 1S

Year 3 and 4 winner was Archie from 3A

Year 5 and 6 winner was Lottieann from 5F
