Today we had a STEM ambassador visit Year 5 linked to our forces topic in Science. We watched a video of the Artemis 1 rocket launch and then investigated what rockets need to have a successful launch. After that, we made our own air rockets to test. Through investigation, we explored things such as: the effect of the launch angle and the number of fins on the rocket. We all had fun seeing whose rocket went the furthest across the playground and whose was the most successful.
