Year 5 travelled to London and visited the Science Museum. During this half term we have been studying ‘Earth and Space’. Also, we have been investigating the famous British astronaut Helen Sharman. Although, the journey was long it was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to actually see genuine artifacts from famous space missions of the past. The most interesting artifact was Helen Sharman’s suit that she actually wore on her mission to the Mir Space Station in 1991. Eventually, we made it back to Holland Park exhausted, but without a doubt it was a worthwhile mission to London.
