Useful websites to support Year 6 pupils

Useful Websites

Times Tables Rock Stars

Holland Park subscribes to TTRS so your children can have daily access at home and at school to this fantastic times tables resource.  There are a wide range of different game types for the children to explore whilst developing their times tables knowledge and fluency.  In the background, the site learns the areas your child might be finding more challenging and exposes them to more questions in these tables to help them improve.  We would recommend around 5-10 minutes practice per day.   If your child has forgotten their login, we can provide a copy.

Rollama

Rollama is a new subscription for Holland Park available only to children in Year 5 and 6.  The site covers all areas of the grammar and spelling curriculum using a range of different games to challenge the children.  With different skill levels, there is something for everyone.  Short bursts of regular practice (10 minutes per day) would be far more beneficial than one longer session per week.  If your child does not know their login, we can provide a printed copy.
