This half term our topic has been Toys. During our history lessons we have looked at a variety of old and new toys and went on a visit to the Hollytrees toy museum in Colchester, what a fantastic day we had!

 

In English we have been visited by our Naughty Bus. The Naughty Bus has been causing havoc in our classroom and the children have enjoyed writing about its adventures.

In science we have been learning out our 5 senses, the children particularly enjoyed our food tasting session. We tried food from 5 different taste groups – sweet, salty, savoury, sour and bitter. The gherkins were not popular!

The children have settled well and have made great progress this half term.
