3 Cleopatra thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Hasty’s farm this week! We had the opportunity to feed a range of farm animals including goats, alpacas, sheep and cows! We also loved watching Rosie the pig as she enjoyed a mud bath and scratches against the tree! We also took part in a pancake trail to find answers to questions about the different ingredients needed to make pancakes. This linked with our farming learning that we have been doing in class, where we discussed local farming and where this produce comes from. We then had a go at making our own flour using the wheat and looking at the seeds which the rapeseed oil is made from! Then, of course, we got to eat our own pancakes!
We also enjoyed some free time playing on the play equipment, climbing on hay bales and making dens!
