Last week we had a dinosaur visit us on our school field. He brought us a book called ‘How To Look After Your Dinosaur’.
The book gives us instructions on how to look after a pet dinosaur.
Over the last few weeks, we have been learning all about instructions and why they are needed. We have been giving our friends lots of instructions as well as listening carefully and following instructions ourselves.
To practise listening to instructions, Miss Goff and Miss Hennessey let us make our very own sandwiches! We had bread, butter, a knife, lemon curd and strawberry jam.
We had to listen very carefully to each instruction to make sure we made the perfect sandwich!

Moving forward, we will be working towards writing our very own set of instructions on how to look after dinosaurs so that we can give them to our very special TeachRex visitors!
