Having arrived safely at 11am, the children first explored their tents. This caused much excitement! Once they were settled into their accommodation for the next two nights, we ate our lunch and then went to our first activity. Over the course of the three days, the children will get the opportunity to practise rock-climbing, the low ropes course, archery, kit kart building, the zip wire and a variety of team challenges.
After the first two activities, we all tucked into an excellent evening meal of chicken Kiev, potato wedges and salad (followed by some very tasty doughnuts!). We finished the evening with the third activity of the day. Finally, after showers and hot chocolate, the children all headed to bed for a well-earned and much-needed night’s sleep. We look forward to finding out what day 2 brings!
