The wind had blown very hard here at Holland Park, and it had swept the rubbish from the entire town onto our playing field. The teachers tried to pick it all up, but there was too much. Luckily the children in EYFS had been learning about recycling! They knew what to do and collected the rubbish and put it into the correct recycling bins.
After collecting the rubbish, the children will then be finding out what we have to do with the bins to make sure the rubbish is recycled properly.
We will be visiting Mr Walker as he sorts the recycling here at Holland Park!
